Tropical Jam by SILENT SEEDS is a premium exotic cannabis strain available in limited quantities, stemming from an exclusive breeding project. This initiative began with a comprehensive selection process using regular seeds from Animal Bx1 and Face Mints, both developed by the renowned Californian breeder Seedjunky Genetics, who is also known for creating popular strains like Wedding Cake, Ice Cream Cake, Jealousy, Georgia Pie, and more recently, Permanent Marker. 

Our team initially focused on a meticulous selection of the Animal Bx1 and Face Mints strains based on well-established criteria. Following this, a male Animal Bx1 and a female Face Mints were chosen and subsequently crossed to produce a new batch of regular seeds. From this batch, over 500 individuals were evaluated to isolate our elite female clone of Animal Face Mints. 

The final stage of this breeding project involved crossing an elite clone of Tropicanna Cookies with our specially chosen elite clone of Animal Face Mints. We concluded the entire process with a variety of tests to ensure the stability and quality of this exceptional new cultivar, aiming to meet the high standards of discerning growers.

Structural Development
Tropical Jam is a cannabis hybrid available in limited editions, characterized by an open plant structure that promotes effective light penetration and ventilation at its centre, thanks to the considerable distance between its nodes. It boasts a distinguished genetic background, offering remarkable vigour from the outset, typically resulting in tall, sturdy plants that can withstand various outdoor challenges. The leaves of Tropical Jam are generally large, with moderately wide and elongated blades. Its structure resembles a well-formed Christmas tree, showcasing significant stability, which indicates a substantial yield of top-tier quality! Our assessments of Tropical Jam revealed three distinct phenotypes, including two tall variants and one that is more compact, reflecting good overall stability across different characteristics. Notably, 80% of Tropical Jam's phenotypes exhibit a stunning purple hue in their flowers during the final two weeks of flowering. It is advisable to use support stakes during the last three weeks of flowering to assist with the weight of the flower tops on the secondary branches.

The limited edition Tropical Jam cannabis seeds yield plants renowned for their generous production, largely due to optimal light availability and effective ventilation within the plant. Importantly, its parental lineage contributes to the development of flowers that are notably large and dense, even on the lower flower tops. It is crucial to highlight that the Tropicanna Cookies parent imparts a uniform floral structure throughout the plant, often resulting in a beautiful compactness and remarkable abundance compared to many exotic strains available today. Tropical Jam promises to deliver ample harvests of delectable compact flowers, rich in resin trichomes, which take on a gorgeous purple hue towards the end of the flowering phase. To enhance the coloration during this time, we recommend reducing temperatures by about 10°C, which will result in cannabis plants with more vivid hues, thus enhancing the visual appeal of your harvest.
