Cannabis Seeds: Where Can I Buy Cannabis Seeds With Free Seeds in the UK?
Free cannabis seeds can make a noticeable difference to the value of an order, particularly when you're already planning to purchase several packs.
But not every free cannabis seed offer in the UK works in the same way.
Some seed banks provide a free seed based on how much you spend. Some breeders add extra seeds to particular pack sizes. Other promotions effectively double the number of cannabis seeds you receive.
At Discount Cannabis Seeds, customers currently have several ways to receive free cannabis seeds, including free seeds with every order, breeder-specific promotions and Buy One Get One Free offers on qualifying DCS cannabis seeds.
That means it's worth looking at the complete offer rather than simply searching for the lowest packet price.
Can You Get Free Cannabis Seeds With an Order in the UK?
Yes.
Some UK cannabis seed banks provide additional cannabis seeds when you place an order, although the rules vary between retailers and promotions.
At Discount Cannabis Seeds, the current standard free-seed offer is based on the amount spent:
- Spend up to £30 – receive 1 free seed.
- Spend £30–£60 – receive 2 free seeds.
- Spend over £60 – receive 3 free seeds.
The website currently states that customers can choose these free seeds at checkout, subject to availability.
So you don't necessarily have to wait for a special breeder promotion to receive an additional seed.
Free Seeds With Every Order.
This is different from a temporary promotional giveaway.
Discount Cannabis Seeds currently states that every order receives free cannabis seeds, with the number determined by the order value.
That makes the offer particularly useful for smaller orders.
Someone spending less than £30 can still receive a free seed rather than needing to reach a large minimum spend.
As the order value increases, the number of free seeds increases too.
What Happens When a Breeder Has Its Own Free-Seed Promotion?
This is where things become more interesting.
Cannabis seed breeders sometimes run promotions that provide additional seeds when customers purchase particular pack sizes.
These promotions are separate from the general free-seed offer and can change throughout the year.
Discount Cannabis Seeds states that it regularly features monthly promotions containing additional free seeds and discounts, with the applicable offers shown through its promotions pages and individual products.
That means the number of seeds you receive for the same amount of money can change depending on when you order.
Sweet Seeds Currently Has Free-Seed Packs.
A current example is Sweet Seeds.
Discount Cannabis Seeds currently lists the following promotion:
- Buy a 3-seed pack → Get 1 FREE seed.
- Buy a 5-seed pack → Get 2 FREE seeds.
The free seeds are supplied by Sweet Seeds, and the promotion doesn't apply to its bulk or mixed packs.
This demonstrates why it's useful to check an individual breeder collection before ordering rather than assuming the advertised pack quantity is necessarily the final quantity you'll receive.
DCS Buy One Get One Free Is Different Again.
The exclusive DCS cannabis seed collection uses a much larger free-seed structure on qualifying products.
Current BOGOF offers include:
- Buy 1 seed → Get 1 FREE.
- Buy 5 seeds → Get 5 FREE.
- Buy 10 seeds → Get 10 FREE.
- Buy 15 seeds → Get 15 FREE.
The free seeds are the same strain as the seeds purchased, and the promotion applies to DCS products displaying the Buy One Get One Free logo.
This effectively doubles the number of seeds in a qualifying order.
How Much Difference Does BOGOF Actually Make?
Quite a lot when you calculate the price per seed.
Imagine a five-seed packet costs £20.
Normally:
£20 ÷ 5 = £4 per seed.
With another five of the same seeds free:
£20 ÷ 10 = £2 per seed.
The packet hasn't become cheaper at checkout.
Instead, you're receiving twice the quantity for the same product price.
That's why free-seed offers should be included when comparing cannabis seed prices.
Free Seeds and BOGOF Aren't the Same Thing.
These terms can easily become confusing.
A free seed with an order might be a separate variety added as a bonus.
A breeder free-seed promotion might provide additional seeds according to the breeder's current offer.
A BOGOF cannabis seed promotion normally provides an additional equivalent product or quantity.
For qualifying DCS BOGOF products, the website specifically states that the free seeds are the same strain purchased and that the offer isn't mix-and-match.
Understanding that difference helps you know exactly what you're getting.
Can You Choose Your Free Cannabis Seeds?
For Discount Cannabis Seeds' standard order-value offer, the current free-seed page states that customers can choose their free seeds at checkout, subject to availability.
The current structure is:
- 1 free seed for orders up to £30.
- 2 free seeds for orders between £30 and £60.
- 3 free seeds for orders over £60.
However, promotional free seeds can operate differently. The company's terms explain that seeds supplied through particular promotions may be a random strain and that promotional availability can change.
Always read the terms of the specific offer you're using.
Can Free Seeds Be Added Automatically?
Some promotions can be automatic.
Discount Cannabis Seeds' terms state that applicable seed-bank discounts and free-seed promotions are added automatically to the shopping basket at checkout, while promotions requiring a coupon code need that code to be entered and applied to the order.
That's useful because it means customers can check their basket before paying.
If you're expecting a particular promotion, look at the checkout and make sure the offer has been recognised.
Do Free Cannabis Seeds Actually Save You Money?
Potentially, but there are two ways to think about it.
Suppose you intended to purchase ten cannabis seeds anyway.
If one retailer sells ten for £40 while another provides ten plus ten free for the same £40, the second offer clearly provides more seeds for the money.
But suppose you only wanted three seeds and spend considerably more simply to unlock a large free-seed offer.
You haven't necessarily saved money.
A useful rule is:
Don't buy seeds you don't want purely because more seeds are free.
Compare the offer against the quantity you genuinely intended to purchase.
Compare the Total Number of Cannabis Seeds You'll Receive.
When several promotions are available, ignore the promotional headlines for a moment.
Write down:
- Number purchased.
- Number included free.
- Final product price.
- Then calculate:
- Final price ÷ total seeds received = effective price per seed.
For example:
Offer Seeds Purchased Free Seeds Total Price Effective Cost
Standard pack 5 0 5 £25 £5.00
Free-seed offer 5 2 7 £25 £3.57
BOGOF 5 5 10 £25 £2.50
These figures are illustrative, but they show how dramatically an offer can alter the real unit price.
Don't Compare Free Seeds by Quantity Alone.
Ten free seeds sounds better than two free seeds.
But that doesn't necessarily mean the complete order offers better value.
You still need to consider:
The original pack price.
The breeder.
How many seeds you're purchasing.
Which seeds are included free.
Whether you actually want those genetics.
Any additional discount.
Delivery cost.
A freebie should improve an order you already want rather than being the only reason you place it.
Look for Breeder Promotions Before Checking Out.
If you're purchasing original breeder packs, it's worth checking whether that breeder currently has a promotion.
Discount Cannabis Seeds regularly runs breeder offers alongside its wider promotions. Its current promotions information says eligible discounts and free-seed promotions are automatically applied at checkout where available.
Offers can be temporary and subject to stock availability, so the promotion available today may not be available several months later.
This is why an evergreen article about free seeds should direct customers towards the current promotions page rather than permanently listing every temporary deal.
Are Free Seeds Available With Original Breeder Packs?
They can be.
Some breeders provide additional seeds as part of temporary or pack-specific promotions.
Sweet Seeds is a current example, with extra seeds supplied on qualifying 3- and 5-seed packs through Discount Cannabis Seeds.
Other breeder promotions can change from month to month.
If original breeder packaging matters to you, look for offers attached specifically to those breeder packs rather than assuming you need to switch to retailer-packaged seeds to receive a freebie.
Can You Get Free Autoflower Cannabis Seeds?
Availability depends on the current free-seed selection and promotion.
Discount Cannabis Seeds' standard free-seed information distinguishes between feminised and autoflower free seeds, and its terms state that customers ordering regular seeds can specify whether they would prefer feminised or auto free seeds because regular free seeds aren't offered.
There are also qualifying DCS autoflower products carrying BOGOF. The current catalogue includes several auto varieties marked with the Buy One Get One Free promotion.
Can You Get Free Feminised Cannabis Seeds?
Yes.
Feminised cannabis seeds feature extensively within the current DCS BOGOF collection.
The present catalogue shows qualifying feminised varieties including Black Domina, Blue Cheese, Blue Dream, Critical XXL, Gorilla Grape, RS11 and The Future, alongside many others.
This is useful for customers who want to choose between different genetics while still taking advantage of the same BOGOF structure.
What About Free Triploid Cannabis Seeds?
Some DCS triploid varieties are also currently displayed with the Buy One Get One Free offer.
Examples shown in the current catalogue include Frosted Guava, Grapefruit, Orange Runtz, Rotten Apple and Sherbet Triploid.
Because specialist genetics can have different standard prices, it's particularly important to compare the final cost per seed rather than assuming every BOGOF product represents exactly the same saving.
Can You Combine Free Seeds With Other Discounts?
This depends on the promotion.
Some offers can work alongside other discounts, while others may have restrictions.
Discount Cannabis Seeds' terms state that promotions are subject to availability and may end at any time. Coupon-code discounts must also be entered and applied in the shopping basket where required.
The safest approach is to check the final basket before completing payment.
That shows you what has actually been applied to your particular order.
Free Seeds vs a Lower Price: Which Is Better?
Neither is automatically better.
Imagine:
- Option A: £30 for five seeds.
- Option B: £25 for five seeds.
- Option C: £30 for five seeds + five free.
- Option B has the lowest checkout price.
- Option C has the lowest price per seed.
The right choice depends on whether you want to spend the least overall or receive the largest quantity for your money.
This is one reason cannabis seed promotions shouldn't be judged solely by the size of the word “FREE”.
Where Should I Look for Current Free Cannabis Seed Offers?
Rather than relying on an old social-media post or an outdated Google result, check the retailer's current promotion information.
Discount Cannabis Seeds has dedicated information for its free-seed programme as well as changing monthly promotions. The company states that its monthly promotions can include both free seeds and percentage discounts.

Where Can I Buy Cannabis Seeds With Free Seeds in the UK?

Look at what you're purchasing, what you're receiving free and what the complete order costs.
At Discount Cannabis Seeds, free seeds are currently available with every order based on spend, while additional breeder promotions and qualifying DCS BOGOF products provide further ways to receive extra cannabis seeds.
For the best comparison, check the current offers immediately before ordering because breeder promotions can change and remain subject to availability.
