Ghost of NYC is a 70% indica hybrid that resulted from crossing two previously uncirculated phenos, viz. a special NYC Diesel and a 4-way Geist OG plant.
The East Coast (NYC) Sour Diesel lays claim to a really special terpene profile and, when blended with Humboldt Seed Org's Geist OG growers and consumers can be guaranteed a rather special sensory experience.
Ghost of NYC is sativa-like in appearance though having a preponderance of indica genetics and effect too. Growth is vigorous and the longer inter-nodal spacing is evident early in its life-cycle. Plants will more than double in height during flowering and so, if the height of the grow room is limted, plants should only be vegged. for a short period. SCRoG is very successful as is 'topping'. Plants are hungry so feed accordingly, but as always, learn to 'read' your plants. This strain loves bone meal periodically during flowering when grown in soil.
Flowering indoors lasts for 9 weeks or thereabouts with yields in the region of 400 - 450 gr/m2. Outdoors, plants can grow to be 450 cm. tall and yield over 4000 gr/plant with harvests ready in mid-October in northern latitudes. Resin production is very high, such that secondary and tertiary buds make excellent extract material. Elongated flower clusters display bright, lime green colouration. This strain does well in more temperate climates and in areas of higher humidity.
Fuel (petrol/gasoline) and lemon are the dominant scents and flavours with sweet and sharp notes of pine and lemon grass. THC levels are very high, 24 - 26%+, while CBD is low at 0.1%. The effect is energising in moderation, great for daytime use, although long-lasting and more physical with higher levels of consumption. Creative and both mentally and physically stimulating.
