The Pineapple Express strain is a well-known and highly regarded 60% Sativa dominant hybrid. Its myrcene dominant terpene profile and impressive genetic pedigree make it a standout strain.

When grown from seeds, Pineapple Express plants are naturally resistant to molds and diseases and do not require advanced growing skills.

This strain offers energizing effects, therapeutic benefits, and delightful flavors and aromas. It is a cross between a Landrace Hawaiian Sativa and Trainwreck, a hybrid of Afghani, Mexican Sativa, and Thai Landraces.

Pineapple Express plants typically reach a medium to tall height, with indoor plants reaching 110-140cm and outdoor plants growing over 2 meters.

The flowering time is approximately 55-65 days indoors and early to mid-October outdoors. The plants have a dense, slightly stretched structure with light green foliage and produce chunky, resinous buds with a THC content of over 25%. Super cropping is recommended for maximum potency.

The buds have a distinct smell of sweet pineapple and cedar, with hints of spice.

The effects of Pineapple Express are typical of a Sativa, providing a fast-acting cerebral high followed by a happy, focused, and relaxed full-body high.

The taste and aroma are tropical, reminiscent of fresh-cut pineapple, tropical fruits, and mango, with undertones of cedar and spice. The strain is 60% Sativa and 40% indica.

To properly store Pineapple Express seeds, it is best to keep them cool and dark in an airtight container, preferably in the refrigerator with proper labeling and dating. Avoid freezing.

There are various methods for germinating Pineapple Express seeds, such as the paper towel method, where the seeds are placed between damp paper towels and kept in a warm, dark place.

The ideal temperature range for germination is 70°F-90°F (21°C-32°C). Temperatures below 70°F (21°C) or above 90°F (32°C) can hinder germination, while low temperatures can delay or stop it altogether, and high temperatures can result in poor growth and dry out the seedlings.
